Thank you for choosing Norman Golf Carts. We are committed to providing quality golf carts and honest descriptions of our vehicles. Please carefully review the following Refund, Return & Warranty Policy before completing your purchase.
1. Golf Cart Purchases
All golf carts are sold according to the condition, specifications, photographs, and descriptions provided in the individual product listing.
Customers are encouraged to review the listing carefully and ask any questions about the golf cart before purchasing. We are available to provide additional information, photographs, videos, or other available details when requested.
Because golf carts are vehicles and many of our units are pre-owned, customers should understand that used golf carts may show normal signs of previous use, including cosmetic wear, scratches, dents, fading, tire wear, battery wear, or other age-related conditions.
2. Used Golf Carts – AS-IS Sales
Unless a written warranty is specifically included with the listing or sales agreement, used golf carts are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with no additional warranty from Norman Golf Carts.
Used golf carts may have normal wear and may require maintenance or repairs based on their age, usage, condition, and previous ownership.
Customers purchasing an AS-IS golf cart are responsible for understanding and accepting the condition of the vehicle before completing the purchase.
An AS-IS sale does not mean that Norman Golf Carts intentionally sells defective merchandise. It means that no additional warranty is provided unless specifically stated in writing.
3. New Golf Carts
New golf carts may include a manufacturer’s warranty when specifically stated in the product listing or purchase documentation.
Manufacturer warranties are subject to the manufacturer’s terms, conditions, exclusions, registration requirements, and coverage limitations.
Norman Golf Carts does not extend or modify a manufacturer’s warranty unless expressly stated in writing.
Warranty claims involving manufacturer-covered components may need to be handled directly with the manufacturer or an authorized service provider.
4. Dealer Warranty
If a specific golf cart includes a Norman Golf Carts dealer warranty, the exact warranty period and covered components will be stated in the individual sales agreement or listing.
Dealer warranties may cover specified mechanical or electrical components only.
Unless specifically stated in writing, dealer warranties do not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Batteries or battery degradation
- Tires and wheels
- Brake pads or other wear components
- Cosmetic damage
- Accidental damage
- Abuse or misuse
- Water or flood damage
- Fire damage
- Modified or altered vehicles
- Unauthorized repairs
- Damage caused by improper maintenance
- Damage caused by overloading
- Damage caused by off-road use beyond the vehicle’s intended design
- Damage caused by improper charging or battery maintenance
- Transportation, towing, or shipping costs
5. Lithium & Lead-Acid Batteries
Golf cart batteries are wear items and their performance can vary depending on age, usage, charging practices, temperature, storage, and maintenance.
Unless a written warranty specifically states otherwise, battery capacity, range, and normal battery degradation are not covered under a dealer warranty.
Lithium battery warranties, when applicable, are subject to the battery manufacturer’s warranty terms.
Customers should follow the manufacturer’s recommended charging, storage, and maintenance procedures.
6. Returns
Because golf carts are vehicles and are often prepared, inspected, transported, or specially configured for the customer, all sales are generally final unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
A return may only be accepted when Norman Golf Carts has provided written authorization before the golf cart is returned.
Customers must not ship, transport, or deliver a golf cart back to Norman Golf Carts without prior written approval.
If a return is authorized, the customer may be responsible for:
- Return transportation
- Shipping costs
- Pickup or delivery charges
- Restocking fees
- Damage occurring after delivery
- Costs associated with missing accessories or equipment
Any authorized refund will be processed after the golf cart has been received and inspected.
7. Non-Returnable Items
Golf carts that have been:
- Modified
- Customized
- Damaged after delivery
- Used commercially
- Used for racing or competition
- Used off-road beyond their intended purpose
- Disassembled
- Repaired by an unauthorized party
- Subjected to abuse, neglect, flooding, or accidents
may not be eligible for return or refund.
8. Damage During Shipping
Customers should inspect the golf cart carefully upon delivery.
If shipping damage is discovered, customers should photograph the damage immediately and notify Norman Golf Carts as soon as possible.
Do not dispose of packaging, shipping materials, or other evidence until the shipping claim process has been completed.
Shipping damage claims may require photographs, videos, delivery documentation, and inspection of the vehicle.
9. Mechanical or Electrical Problems After Delivery
If a problem occurs after delivery, customers should contact Norman Golf Carts before attempting repairs.
Unauthorized repairs or modifications may affect warranty eligibility.
When contacting us about a potential warranty issue, please provide:
- Customer name
- Order or invoice number
- Golf cart make and model
- Date of purchase
- Description of the problem
- Photographs or video when applicable
- Any diagnostic information available
We will review the situation and determine whether the issue is covered by the applicable warranty.
10. Inspection Before Purchase
Customers are welcome to ask questions about a golf cart before purchasing.
When available, customers may request additional photographs, videos, specifications, maintenance information, battery information, or other available documentation.
Customers are responsible for determining whether a golf cart meets their intended use before completing the purchase.
11. Refunds
If a refund is approved in writing, the refund will generally be issued to the original payment method.
Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.
Shipping, delivery, transportation, restocking, processing, or other applicable costs may be deducted from an approved refund when permitted by the applicable agreement and law.
12. Deposits and Cancellations
Deposits may be required to reserve certain golf carts.
Once a golf cart has been reserved, prepared, customized, or scheduled for transportation, the deposit may become non-refundable unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
Customers should confirm cancellation terms before placing a deposit.
13. Price Changes
Prices and availability may change without notice before a purchase is completed.
Once a purchase has been completed and confirmed, the agreed purchase price will be reflected in the applicable sales documentation.
14. Warranty Transfer
Unless specifically stated in writing, warranties are not automatically transferable to a subsequent owner.
Manufacturer warranties may have separate transfer rules. Customers should verify transferability directly with the applicable manufacturer when purchasing a previously owned vehicle.
15. Limitation of Warranty
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Norman Golf Carts’ warranty obligations are limited to the specific coverage expressly provided in the applicable written warranty or sales agreement.
No employee, representative, or third party is authorized to create an additional warranty or guarantee on behalf of Norman Golf Carts unless provided in writing by an authorized representative.
16. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for properly maintaining and operating their golf cart according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Improper maintenance, misuse, modification, neglect, overloading, improper charging, accidents, or unauthorized repairs may void applicable warranty coverage.
Customers should also verify local requirements regarding registration, insurance, safety equipment, and operation of golf carts or low-speed vehicles on public roads.
17. Policy Changes
Norman Golf Carts reserves the right to update this Refund, Return & Warranty Policy when necessary.
The policy in effect at the time of purchase will generally apply to that transaction, subject to applicable law and the terms of the customer’s sales agreement.
18. Contact Norman Golf Carts
If you have questions about a golf cart, warranty coverage, returns, shipping damage, or an existing purchase, please contact Norman Golf Carts before taking any action.
